The Internet offers an endless world to explore, ways to connect and knowledge to share. For students, online access is as necessary as a number 2 pencil. Knowing the poorest students are being left behind, Comcast created Internet Essentials, a low-cost home Internet service just for them. My challenge was to reach youth who didn't have home internet and sell them on the delights of homework. Something no teen has bought ever. Through highly targeted ads reaching public libraries near Title 1 schools in 9 target markets, the creative invited students into a homework nightclub they couldn't resist.
